B: Falcon Punch - Falcon's signature move in Melee, the Falcon Punch, is still executed by pressing the B button. Although the move is a little slow to pull off, it is extremely powerful and damaging! Now, it is noticable that the Falcon Punch has a bit more distance than it had in SSB! |
B Smash: Raptor Boost - Press B + Forward to perform this move. This will send Captain Falcon forward horizontally, much like the Falcon Kick on the ground. Falcon will then uppercut you straight up into the air. Sometimes in the air, he will hit you down to the ground. It looks like instead of brass knuckles Falcon uses fire knuckles! |
B Up: Falcon Dive - Falcon's B Up is still the same and is still used as his triple jump. When he hits someone with it, he grabs a hold of them and then 'blasts' them away. We could not find a high quality shot of him doing this on any of the Melee Movies, so for now you will just have imagine the move on SSB and graphically enhance it to try and picture what it will be like on Melee! =) |
B Down: Falcon Kick - Falcon's flaming dive kick is still in SSBM. When used in the air, Falcon will do his kick diagonoly rather than horizontaly like he does on the ground. Thanks to Verdeo we now have a high quality picture of this move. |

Finally, here are a few action shots of Captain Falcon with weapons.
